The Little Prince. A Snake In The Grass
Michael Jackson influenced by Bob Fosse’s “Snake in the grass” character from the 1974 movie The Little Prince? Sure looks like it.
This scene from the book shows the snake offering to send the boy back from where he came (the sky), in a clever way of saying he can kill him.
